Desde el s\u00e1bado 15 de marzo, el prototipo MLRT de 5 MW de potencia instalado en aguas marinas de Gran Canaria ha entrado oficialmente en operaci\u00f3n al haber inyectado energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica por primera vez desde que el pasado mes de diciembre iniciara sus pruebas de funcionamiento.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera, el proyecto Elican, financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea y llevado a cabo por un consorcio de <strong>Esteyco, Siemens Gamesa, ALE Heavylift, DEWI GmbH y Plocan<\/strong>, hace realidad el sue\u00f1o espa\u00f1ol de tener energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina en su sistema el\u00e9ctrico. Gracias a la energ\u00eda evacuada a la red, unos 3.000 hogares se beneficiar\u00e1n de esta novedosa energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El aerogenerador offshore es un prototipo de cimentaci\u00f3n y torre telesc\u00f3pica (autoelevable), de hormig\u00f3n prefabricado, dise\u00f1ado para soportar turbinas e\u00f3licas, que permite ahorrar costes y posibilita llevar su construcci\u00f3n casi a cualquier parte.
